Gift of Joy
The joy of the Lord is my Strength. Nehemiah 8:10
To give them beauty for ashes. The oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness. Isaiah 61:3
"As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that your joy may be full. John 15:9-11
Without having seen Him, you love Him; though you do not now see Him, you believe in him and exult and thrill with inexpressible and glorious triumphant, heavenly joy. 1Peter 1:8
You have loved righteousness and You have hated lawlessness. You God has anointed You with the oil of exultant joy and gladness above and beyond Your companions. Heb1:9
With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:3
The joy of the Lord is like a mighty water fall.
The joy of the Lord is there when you call.
When the cares of the world attack your heart,
Think about the Lord and the joy will start.
Recite the Word's promises one by one.
Absorb in your heart that the battle is won.
Sing praises to the Lord day and night.
The Joy of the Lord gives your heart delight.
