Gift of Living Above Circumstances
..Is your life full of difficulties and temptation? Then be happy. For when the way is rough, your patience has a chance to grow. So let it grow, and don't try to squirm out of your problems. For when your patience is finally in full bloom, then you will be ready for anything, strong in character, full and complete. James 1:2-5 Living Bible
... I was given a physical condition which has been a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to hurt and bother me and prick my pride. Three different times I begged God to make me well again. Each time he said, "No." But I am with you, that is all you need. My power shows up best in weak people." Now I am glad to boast about how weak I am; I am glad to be a living demonstration of Christ's power, instead of showing off my own power and abilities. Since I know it is all for Christ good, I am quite happy about "the thorn," and about insults and hardships, persecution and difficulties; for when I am weak, then I am strong--the less I have, the more I depend on him. 2 Cor 7-10 Living Bible
Standing On the Mountain
Word from the Lord
There are two places in which you can dwell. The first place is in the valley. The circumstances swirl and affect your life. They dance lightly through your home or come with a resounding roar. They can affect your life and there are adjustments to be made.
Remember, daughter . You can come up to the mountain above the circumstances. You can be near me. You can look down on the circumstances knowing that my mountain is a place of shelter and peace.
My people will come to My mountain as is written in Isaiah 2 "Many people shall come and say, 'Come , and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His way, and we shall walk in His paths.'
There is no worry about circumstances on my mountain. I will lead the way. Come to my mountain now. I will give you rest. I will give you strength to walk though your circumstances one step at a time.
