Now may the God of
hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,
that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy
Spirit. Rom
15:13
You
love him even though you have never seen him; though
not seeing him, you trust him; and even now you are
happy with the inexpressible joy that comes from
heaven itself. 1
Pet:1:8
Dear
friends, don't be bewildered or surprised when you
go through the fiery trials ahead, for this is no
strange, unusual thing that is going to happen to
you. Instead, be really glad because these
trials will make you partner with Christ in his
suffering, and afterwards you will have the
wonderful joy of sharing his glory in that coming
day when it will be displayed. 1Peter
4:12-13
The
he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat,
drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom
nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to
our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the
Lord is your strength. Nehemiah
8:10
Joy
Is Found By Tuning to the Flow of the Holy Spirit
God
gave His people emotions and joy comes in the
good circumstances of life. All is wonderful
and life is good. The problem is that human
joy can be taken away as fast as it comes. One
false move or one little bad circumstance can kill
any human joy and turn the joy into sadness,
depression, despair and many other negative
emotions. A roller coaster life of joy is to
live in drama and trauma, joy and despair.
Supernatural
joy is a fruit of the Holy Spirit that lives within
our born-again spirits. This joy flows like a river
and scripture gives us the promise that we can flow
in supernatural joy. How does a Christian live
in this joy? The answer is by staying very
close to what the Holy Spirit is saying to us.
Born-again Christians need
to learn how to tune to the flow of the Holy Spirit.
The flow
always comes from the His people's spirit not the
mind or understanding.
There
are many ways to begin the flow of supernatural
joy-praise, worship, meditation on the scriptures,
journaling, soaking in His presence. Find the flow
and get into the river and you will find joy in all
days and nights.
