Physical Healing
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Jesus healed people who were afflicted with many diseases. His disciples healed many during their ministry. Christians are being healed today through the gift of healing, through prayer and through receiving the power of the Holy Spirit to self-heal. I received a supernatural healing two times. The first time was when I was practicing spiritual warfare for a deliverance from a demon. During this warfare of prayer, fasting, claiming the blood of Jesus and power of His name, I could physically feel short bursts of (something like) an electrical shocks. I know now that the Lord was doing an inner healing before I received the manifestation of my deliverance. The second time was when a prophet of God laid hands on me. I fell to the floor and was enjoying the presence of God. I purchased the tape that contained my prophesy. My prophecy said that the Lord was healing my digestive tract because I was having trouble digesting food. That prophesy was absolutely correct. I was having trouble digesting food for a few weeks. I received that healing. The healing came in increments and now I am healed. To my surprise, I found that I needed to exercise faith to keep my healing. I quoted healing scriptures and claimed the authority of Jesus Christ as I would in a self-deliverance. The co-founder of Daystar television network, Joni Lamb televised the Daystar women's conference. Joni's sister was healed of a fatal disease. In her testimony about her healing, she stated that she prayed for a healing, declared her healing, behaved as if she were healed. She posted scriptures all through her house--on mirrors, on walls, on the refrigerator. She sang praises, prayed in tongues, saw herself healed. The Lord manifested her healing in increments. When she went to the doctor for a review of her recent physical exam, she was told there was no trace of her disease. Why do some people get healed and other people do not? The problem is us-- not God. If we do not believe in our heart that a healing can manifest, then we limit what God can do though us. Our responsibility is to train our heart. Believe it, hold on to the authority of Christ, and claim your healing. "Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus' feet and He healed them." Mat 15:30 |
