Is
God Real?
I don't know where to begin. No disrespect but, do you really believe
that prayer changes things? And if so, what about all the Christians I know that still suffer from poverty and affliction? Injustice and
inequality? My gramma, my mama, they (my mom) tries to
browbeat me with the whole Christian thing, I don't impose my thing on anybody, so
do me that same way.
I visited your site, cause I got a ouija board today, my sis bought it. I been wanting one for awhile. I played one
about two years ago, I'll admit it gave me the creeps, I took it back the next day and got my money back. Since then, I've dabbled in
Wicca, and voodoo.
In my research, I've found that it is not an object that does harm, it is individual intent. Like the burning of candles, I feel
like my family should bug-off. Do Catholics or do they not light candles at church? Are candles a part of all of our everyday life?
Whether aromatherapy, or necessity? So would it be safe to say that the candles themselves are not evil, it is individual intent? You may
think I am rationalizing, or you've heard it all before, but frankly, so have I. I been trying to live and do right a long time, and I see all
these assholes prospering all around me. forgive indecent language). Living foul. And some Christian would tell me, I'll get my reward in
heaven? I was a younger, ministers wanted to have sex with me, when I was 16, they molest kids all over the world, who is the real
devil?
I need to see something relevant NOW. Yes, the fact that my
children and I are alive and well, not homeless, and not hungry is a
blessing. I never denied that God or Jesus is real, I just have a
problem with people who claim to know HIM, and can't even share the same love they claim they had for Jesus, with a stranger, or someone in need.
These churches preach the same shit to the same group of Christians,
week after week after week, AND THEY STILL DON'T GET IT!!! Even the
devil can quote scriptures, you feel me?
Listen, I'm really not trying to be a demon or anything, I am 28 years old African American single
mother , and I been searching for the truth for so long, not even my beloved granny can't seem to set the record strait, one who has spoke
the praises of Jesus from her lips, all MY life. Maybe I have what my granny would call a reprobate mind, I don't know what to believe
anymore, and please, save the" ask God" speech, been there and done
that, when it comes to me, all I see is a huge "No Vacancy" sign at
the
door. By the way, your page was very informative, I think I'll take
my
chances, after all it's only a game, or not.

Know that still suffer from poverty and affliction? Injustice and inequality?
Yes, I do believe that prayer changes things. I believe in the power God. It is not just an intellectual belief--like believing in Santa Claus. God has
demonstrated his power in my life over and over again.
As Christians, we are not guaranteed a life absent from poverty and affection. The difference is that we do not have to live by our circumstances. We receive peace from Jesus in spite of our circumstances. Jesus never guaranteed that Christians would not be affected by poverty or
affiliation--that our life would be care free.
Let's examine the life of Jesus. He was not rich. He died as a criminal on a cross. Why would Christians expect to have all their problems magically disappear? He is a Christian's example. He lived in peace. The people of his time both loved and hated him. He was a radical. He was controversial. His enemies were the "religious" people of his time. He died to break the power of Satan (who you don't say much about in your email.) He
resurrected from the dead to show his spiritual power.
My grandma, my mama, they (my mom) tries to browbeat me with the whole Christian thing, I don't impose my thing on anybody, so
do me that same way.
I know that their intent is to protect you from the evil things of this world. They only want to help. Sometimes the people who love you just hope that you will value and consider their opinion.

You may think I am rationalizing, or you've heard it all before, but frankly, so
have I. I been trying to live and do right a long time, and I see all these assholes prospering all around me. forgive indecent language).
Living foul. And some Christian would tell me, I'll get my reward in heaven? I was a younger, ministers wanted to
have sex me when I was 16, they molest kids all over the world, who is the real devil?
I don't think candle's are evil. They are just candles. I am sorry that you had bad experiences with some people who profess to be Christians.
You have to remember that a person (even if they are a minister) says they are a Christian--that does not mean they are one. You can judge people who say they are Christians. Do they have the fruit of the Holy Spirit? Love, joy, peace, self-control, endurance, patience?
Be aware that really only God knows the heart of a person. If you would have know the Bible, you could have told that minister to get lost. He was not a Christian because he was telling you to do things that are not according to the Word of God.
You are looking for the truth. Jesus is the truth so you will eventually find Him. You are looking for some power in your life. Jesus is power. You will eventually find Him.
You don't see the power of Jesus?
You are searching in the wrong places. Wicca and the other stuff is only a counterfeit
for the real power of God. Today, many Christians believe in Jesus, but deny the power of the supernatural power of Jesus. Somehow, Satan,
convinced Christians that only Satan can move in the supernatural. Jesus is not just an intellectual belief. He still casts out demons (I know this because I was delivered from a demon that would not leave me), He still heals people, He still gives us the gifts of the Holy Spirit which is
prophesying, words of wisdom, words of knowledge, speaking in tongues and it's interpretation, inspired teaching and preaching, healing and evangelism.
You are looking for some relevant answers. Check out the power of the supernatural Jesus. Go to an "alive" Christian church that believes in the supernatural power of God. Give it at least as much time and effort as you spend studying other beliefs. Have you ever had a prophet of GOD give you a Word of Knowledge or and
encouragement? That is not being a psychic but the real thing from God.
There is healing, but a person needs faith. Even Jesus had trouble healing when the city he was in was saturated with unbelief. Faith grows by having a relationship with the real supernatural Jesus. You are probably thinking: How do I know that Jesus is the spirit I have the relationship with and that another spirit did not "sneak in"? You can test it. Does the result encourage you? Is it in agreement with the Bible (I mean taken in context and fully understood scriptures)? Does it state that Jesus Christ is God and had
resurrected from the dead?
You want to see power? Give your life to Christ. Go to a church that believes in the supernatural power of Jesus. Learn from them.
Receive their concern and support. Look at yourself not other people. Jesus changes lives. I say that from experience.
Maybe I have what my granny would call a reprobate mind, I don't know what to believe
anymore, and please, save the" ask God" speech, been there and done that, when it comes to me, all I see is a huge "No Vacancy" sign at the

I don't think that you have a reprobate mind. No, I won't give you the
"ask God
speech." You have to take an active part if you really want to see the power of God. You can't just ask God and expect him to be like Santa Claus. He expects you to do some things--like get some knowledge about him from the Bible. Like have fellowship with people who have a supernatural relationship with him. Like trust and obey him. If you don't do these things then you will be still searching.
Eventually, you will get to Him because he is the power and the truth. I pray that you don't get hurt or demon possessed along the way.
I hope that I have not offended you in any way. Look, I have been a Christian for many years. I had a demon cast out of me some 20 years ago. Even with that experience,
I was fearful of the supernatural moving of Jesus. That was my loss. Now I understand Jesus is supernatural and powerful. I pray that you will, too. The sign Jesus has
for you is "Welcome home." He is waiting for you.
