Witnessing
1 Cor 1:18 For the word of the cross is to those who are perishing is foolishness, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
1 Cor 9:16 For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for I am under compulsion; for woe is me if I do not preach the gospel.
Acts 4:19 But Peter and John answered and said to them, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to give heed to you rather than to God , you be the judge, for we cannot stop speaking what we have seen and heard."
Cross and the Jackhammer
My cross stands across the self-made path of many. Once my cross is seen, there is a sign, "Under Construction" go now unto the righteous path. Behind the construction sign is a jackhammer. The noise is bellowing and cannot be ignored. My son or daughter shouts "Come to the Lord Jesus Christ. Give your life to Him. He is eternal salvation and love." There is danger on your self-made path. Danger--hell-- ahead unless you turn to the cross and repent of your wicked ways."
Some mock and laugh. Some take notice but do nothing. Some run to My cross and are adopted in My family.
My ways are not your ways. Lean not to your own understanding. Speak out as a loud jackhammer on the self-made path of another. My seed will be planted and the soil of a self-made path will be prepared for future salvation or the miracle of salvation and adoption into My family could manifest in front of your eyes.
Do not lose heart in doing the works of God. Show yourself approved. Go forward with joy. Be now a precious jackhammer.
